COLLEGE CHRONICLES: 002
Today, August 23rd, I ventured outside of the FIT campus. After sleeping in, I went to the bookstore to pick up the textbooks I had ordered. The box was almost too heavy for me and I struggles bringing it back to my dorm. After lugging the ten books, I got ready and head out. My roommate needed to go to the Apple Store so we headed downtown. We took the 1 train down to 14th Street and went to the Apple Store there. It had a cool, glass spiral staircase that kind of made me anxious. We then walked around Chelsea Market, which is one of my favorite places. Despite the numerous food options, we chose not to get anything to eat. We then went over to Washington Square Park and walked around a little. Being the basic girl I am, we went to DŌ, the cookie dough place. I was very underwhelmed to say the least. I paid $7 for a scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough and a scoop of chocolate ice cream. Honestly, it's not worth the hype. After the cookie dough, we head back up to FIT. I stopped by the Campus Involvement Fair, where I surprisingly joined a club. I joined the LGBTQ+ Students United, I figured I would make the most like-minded friends here. I also grabbed some lunch from the dining hall that I ended up bringing back up to my room. I ended up not even eating it, because when I went back to my dorm I fell asleep and took a good 2 hour nap. I woke up confused, and scared myself in my mirror. I spent sometime working on my previous blog post. I ended up missing dinner in the dining hall, so I ended up eating goldfish for dinner. It is now 10pm and realistically, there isn't going to be anything else happening today.
